About Us

Dave, has served as a member of the YMCA of the USA executive leadership, managing the YUSA governance system, national strategic planning, member association compliance and membership standards, national executive communications.  The YMCA is the largest nonprofit human service agency in the USA.

YMCA experience: With over 30 years of YMCA staff and volunteering, previously worked as a vice president in three urban YMCAs: New York, NY, Rochester and Kansas City.  He led the Management Resource Centers for New York and Rochester in additional to a variety of operations functions. In Kansas City served as the senior group VP for operations.  Additionally he served in various executive positions at YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee and YMCA of Ottumwa (Iowa).

Non YMCA professional experience: Has led three consulting practices: Effectus Consulting; The Phelps Company; Goldring and Company where he served as co-president, chief operating officer, principal and director. Goldring, under his leadership became one of the top 125 market research firms in the USA.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in government and public service, Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
